Lighting - Project Lighting - Minimal Middle Age MINIMAL MIDDLE AGE COLLECTION These pendants were designed as part of a comprehensive redesign project for a historic castle in Kassa, Central Europe, a city deeply rooted in medieval tradition, lore, and rich architectural heritage. The cultural identity of Kassa, woven from centuries-old stories, novels, and local tales, serves as the poetic foundation for the entire collection. Rather than replicating historical forms, the design paraphrases the medieval aesthetic through a distinct, minimalist lens. By avoiding repetitive historical motifs, the collection translates the enigmatic charm and raw elegance of the middle ages into sophisticated, singular geometric volumes tailored for contemporary spaces. It can be colorful, playful, wild, and unapologetically hedonistic. For this project, the raw energy, diverse culture, and distinct vibe of London were my ultimate inspiration. I wanted to break away from the conventional boundaries of classic crystal design and do something unexpected. The result is an extravagant, punkish, and playful collection that reimagines what a modern chandelier can be bold, non-conformist, and full of character. These luminaires were designed for a stylish, vintage interior in London, and a select number of them have already been produced. specifications . You might also like

HISTHEORYGAME FACEBOOK-HISTHEORYBOARDGAME This project won the award HONORABLE MENTION in the DESIGN THAT EDUCATES AWARDS architectural and design competition. Designers Bokor Gyöngyi, Csizmadia Zsolt, Mihallkovics Edina With HISTHEORY we model alternative societies, draw conclusions about historical and modern political events while testing our logic, critical thinking and empathy. Throughout the game we try to connect words and phrases on a logical, cause and effect basis by doing so we can gain a better understanding of how ideologies, events and conditions may derive from one and other. We can debate about important and controversial questions, such as the future of green energy and artificial intelligence, equality and totalitarianism, humanitarianism and awareness, and the impact human psychology have on social change. How can we model societies in our favourite films or an imaginary world? How can poverty result in anarchy, obsession in isolation, or the regime in the energy crisis? The aim of the game is to build a network of social and political processes, many of which will resemble familiar events in history, by using words and phrases of psychology, politics, and sociology. While the rules of the game are simple and easy to understand, the various conversations may arise make it a unique experience.
