BGD - Product Design - Outdoor object OUTDOOR OBJECT Outdoor objects were exhibited in several exhibitions and shown in numerous publications. 100%DESIGN GREEN MOME DESIGN WITHOUT BORDERS HUNGARIAN DESIGN AWARD LIGHTWHEEL This project was developed for the prestigious TARGETTI design competition , organized by the historic Italian lighting company Targetti Sankey S.r.l. Driven by the vision of redefining open-space environments, the collection introduces innovative, moving outdoor luminaires that interact dynamically with their surroundings. The concept explores the relationship between form and physics. Featuring precision-engineered curves and sophisticated grooves, the sculptural body of the luminaire naturally dictates the direction of its motion, while the geometry itself doubles as an intuitive mechanism to gently guide and stop the object. Nature crystal collection Lighting - Project Lighting Nature Collection NATURE COLLECTION Living nature is a major inspiration in my product design process. The natural world embodies organic form in its purest, most authentic state. Consequently, I am constantly seeking this essential simplicity and harmony in my work. While I strive for clean, minimalist overall silhouettes, the intricate details lend these lamps a remarkable formal richness. Most of these collections were developed for international design projects. Some of my designs were chosen, and belong to international lighting companies, Swarovski Lighting, and Schonbek Lighting. Other parts of these projects are shown on this site and manufactured by Hungarian lighting firms, Candela Lighting Ltd, Cryst Lighting Ltd, and BGD Lighting. BGD - Design together - Hack the town HACK THE TOWN We believe that everybody is a designer and everything is design in open design projects. Design is diverse, as it is questioning, analysis, communication, cooperation, feeling, way of life, and an artistic movement too. Think, ask, communicate with each other, and change. Sometimes hacking is the first step. So, we walk around the town and redesign places with augmented reality. This is how we create surreal, virtual graffiti in three dimensions. While we follow the philosophy of graffiti we can show opinions and feelings about our environment, with our town-hacking project. Such a design approach can be mixed with some kind of civil street art, as it represents how many ways people can think about a certain place. No matter where you live, no matter what you do, however, you always can express your opinion with the tool of art. The theme can be anything; a famous classical place, a modern building, nature, or a simple, cheap, abandoned urban place. On the one hand, hacking a historical scene can free strict and old-fashioned rules and approaches, on the other hand, hacking a poor urban area can draw attention to these abandoned places. Therefore, this project can show an approach, of shared knowledge, creativity, and a socially active future.
